About

Hi Friend!
I'm Eileen.  I'm so glad you're here!  To be honest, I initially started blogging because I wanted a reason to continue writing after I graduated from college a few months ago, but my relationship with social media has become a little more serious lately.  I have really been enjoying it!
I’m a small-town California girl striving to both learn from and enjoy the highs and lows of the “real life.”  I love people, good conversation, reading, and being pleasantly surprised.
The Sagebrush Gazette is my first attempt at blog-writing, and I hope you have just as much fun viewing it as I’ve had in the process of its development.   If interested, please visit my other  other favorite blog here, and feel free to follow me  on twitter and pinterest, as well.
Thanks for stopping by!

  3. Hi Eileen,

Thanks for your recent comment on my blog!

I absolutely LOVE your blog! I would move to California in an instant if they'd let me have a Visa!

If you ever fancy a house swap then let me know ;) We're about an hour and a half drive from London in the sunny seaside resort of Bournemouth surrounded by the pretty English countryside of Dorset.

Also, totally trying out your salted brown butter choc chip cookies as soon as I can get my head around the American measurements!

    1. Thanks, Emma! Love the idea of a house swap! Just googled Bournemouth - looks like a really adorable and quintessentially British town. I'm so happy I found your blog. You'll be seeing me around, for sure!

  4. You write very well. Not an off the cuff manner but an emotional and passionate manner about life and that makes it real.
